I have a history of working in Social Care specialising with Autism and Learning Difficulties. Since 2011 I have undertaken my PGCE Teaching Qualification and worked initially as a Lecturer for Coleg Llandrillo before being promoted to Program Area Manager for Health and Care at Coleg Llandrillo's Rhos site. 

Personally I am a keen fitness enthusiast who likes to Cycle and Run when possible. I also like to read for leisure when professional and family commitments allow! 

  

 

 

Tom Williams

I was born and bred in Denbigh and attended the former Denbigh Grammar School.I worked all my life in Local Government (38 years) within Finance and IT Departments. I worked in a number of Local Authorities in England and Wales, having started in Denbigh Borough Council, and finishing as Head of IT in Pembrokeshire CC. I am now retired and live with my wife in Denbigh. I have 4 grown-up children and 6 grandchildren.

   

David Macfarlane

I am a teacher of English and French at Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn. I have taught at the school since 2007 and have had experience of teaching on all three sites. I am also the literacy coordinator for the school, helping to implement the Literacy and Numeracy Framework. I enjoy cycling and swimming in my spare time.

Sarah Peters

I am local to the Denbigh area and have been affiliated with Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn for over 30 years. I have spent the last six years working at Brondyffryn as a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant in the role of Therapeutic Inclusion Mentor. My role involves helping pupils assess their own feelings and sense of well-being as well as facilitating development of social and life skills. Since 2007  I have been on the board of Governors.  Throughout my years I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy all aspects of my work.

      

Simon Humphreys

Simon has thirty years Policing experience, starting in Staffordshire and then North Wales. He has a teenage son with Autism and has significant involvement in local charitable and community sectors.
