Residential

Gerddi Glasfryn is our residential accommodation. It is situated on the outskirts of Denbigh and is set on an elevated position overlooking open countryside. This outstanding provision opened in September 2005 and offers the very highest standards of resources and facilities.

The main building is listed as Grade 2.

The accommodation has been skilfully refurbished and modernised with the specific aim of meeting the needs of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The gardens offer splendid opportunities for play and generally having fun. Gerddi Glasfryn forms part of Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn’s specialist provision and offers weekly boarding Monday to Friday for up to 24 pupils in 6 self-contained flats (term time only).

The quality of care and service provision is rigorously inspected by CSSIW and is described as “Young people and their parents can be assured that the children who use this service will have positive experiences, be treated as individuals and their needs will be met sensitively.” (CSSIW 2014)
